Adelaide Clemens

Born and was raised within Brisbane Australia. Daughter of an British father. Clemens started her career as an actor on Australian television when she was in high school. She appeared as Juliet in one episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and starred in the role of Alison in the Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens was nominated at the Logie Awards in 2008 for her character, Harper on Showtime's show Love My Way. She was awarded the Graham Kennedy Award and the award to be the Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens was as a character in Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film which featured Sigrid Thonton, Xavier Sam Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. Additionally, she played minor role on All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. The next season, Clemens changed to the star of Jan Logan jewelery. Clemens relocated from California to Los Angeles in 2009. Clemens starred on the screen as Xandrie (Wasted on the Young) in the film Wasted on the Young. Clemens appeared in Camilla Dickinson alongside Gregg Sulkin and Cary Elwes. Samantha Mathis also appeared. This drama is an adaptation from the 1951 novel by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult fiction writer. In Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she portrayed teenager Heather Mason. The horror film was inspired by the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to Silent Hill.That year, Clemens also played the lead role as the young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End a television mini-series adaptation to The Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens performed the role of lead in No One Lives, a 2012 horror film that starred Luke Evans. She appeared as well in The Great Gatsby (2013) which was a movie based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's book with the same title. Catherine was the youngest cousin to Myrtle Wilson, played by Isla Fischer. Clemens portrays Tawney in Rectify which was a 2012 Sundance Channel miniseries developed with Ray McKinnon. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto will also be in the show alongside Clemens.
